Why Chokdee Jai
What Makes Our Approach Different
We believe financial education works best when it respects the learner — their time, their experience, and the particular circumstances of their life.
Tailored for Adults 40+
Our programs acknowledge the financial realities of mid-life — from pension planning to property decisions — without oversimplifying.
Grounded in Thai Context
All content reflects the specific financial, legal, and cultural landscape of Thailand — not generic Western frameworks adapted poorly for local use.
Small, Focused Groups
Sessions are kept small so every participant has room to ask questions, share concerns, and receive thoughtful attention from the facilitator.
Clear, Jargon-Free Content
Financial concepts are explained in plain language. No confusing terminology — just clear ideas you can apply from the next day onward.
No Sales, Just Education
Chokdee Jai is an educational space. We do not sell financial products. Our only interest is in helping you understand your options more clearly.
Flexible Session Timing
Programs are structured to fit around working and family commitments — with options for weekday evenings and weekend mornings in Chiang Mai.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
A few things participants often want to know before joining us.
Who are these programs designed for?
Our programs are shaped around the financial situations commonly faced by adults aged 40 and above — whether you are a Thai national, a long-term resident, or someone approaching retirement. No prior financial knowledge is required.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our premises on Naresuan Road in Si Phum, Chiang Mai. Parking is available nearby. We ask that participants confirm their place in advance by contacting us directly.
Are the programs available in Thai?
Yes. While our website and materials are prepared in English, facilitators can conduct sessions in Thai when all participants prefer it. Please let us know your language preference when you register.
How many people attend each session?
We deliberately keep group sizes small — typically 4 to 8 participants — so that there is space for discussion, questions, and a relaxed learning environment. This is not a large seminar format.
Do you offer one-on-one consultations?
We offer a brief introductory conversation at no charge so you can decide which program fits your situation. For more extended individual guidance, please contact us to discuss what would work best for you.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours before your session. We will do our best to find a suitable alternative time for you.
Are the programs relevant for expatriates living in Thailand?
Yes — particularly our Expatriate Financial Coordination program, which addresses the specific challenges of managing finances across borders, dealing with dual tax considerations, and coordinating overseas assets from within Thailand.
